Multisensory Navigational Aid for Visual Prosthesis Users

Last updated: 30 April 2022 at 18:22

Summary

The Argus II retinal prosthesis system offers limited visual feedback to the users making independent navigation challenging. Thus, this project aims to develop two supplementary systems, namely haptic and auditory, and to determine the effectiveness of the augmented system in aiding the users with path navigation and obstacle localisation.
